Creating Backup Agent

You can create and use the Backup Agent service in the Samsung Cloud Platform Console.

To create a Backup Agent, follow these steps.

Terminate Backup Agent

You can deactivate the unused Backup Agent.

Caution
  • Available, can only be terminated when in an Error state.
  • If there is a Backup service connected to the Backup Agent, it cannot be terminated.
  • Backup policy count is the number of Backup services connected to the Backup Agent. * After terminating all connected backups, terminate the Backup Agent.

To cancel the Backup Agent, follow these steps.

  1. Click the All Services > Storage > Backup menu. 1. Go to the Service Home page of Backup.
  2. On the Service Home page, click the Backup Agent menu. 2. Backup Agent List Navigate to the page.
  3. On the Backup Agent List page, select the resource to cancel, and click the Cancel Service button.
