    Service Overview

    Marketplace is a service that supports subscription and installation of products across various domains through the Samsung Cloud Platform. Users can search for the required Marketplace products based on their intended use, apply for subscriptions directly, and manage detailed information of the subscribed products as well as view usage costs.

    Provided features

    Marketplace provides the following features.

    • Product Overview: Provides information on the main features, pricing, and seller details of marketplace products offered by SCP.
    • Product Subscription: Users can select the desired marketplace product through the product Catalog and apply for a subscription.
    • Product Installation: You can install and deploy to match the user’s environment based on the subscribed product type.
    • Product Management: You can easily manage cancellations or terminations by checking the subscription status, installation, and termination status of marketplace products you have applied for.

    Software delivery type

    In the Marketplace, you can subscribe to products in the following two ways.

    • Seller Support: This is a form where the software vendor installs it directly. When you subscribe to a product, the application information is sent to the software vendor by email. The vendor reviews the request details and, in consultation with the user, installs the software.
    • Machine Image: It is a format that can be installed on an SCP Virtual Server. After subscribing to the product, the user can select a Marketplace image through the Virtual Server offering, and the software will be installed automatically.

    Component

    Marketplace provides product subscription management and product catalog features.

    • Product Subscription Management: Users can view and manage detailed information and subscription status of marketplace products they have applied for.
    • Product Catalog: You can view detailed information about marketplace products available from SCP and subscribe to the desired product.

    Constraints

    Services sold in the Samsung Cloud Platform Marketplace are offered by individual sellers. In the case of these services, Samsung SDS acts as an e‑commerce intermediary and is not a party to the sales. Therefore, Samsung SDS assumes no responsibility for the service information or transactions conducted by individual sellers.
