Users can input required information for the DevOps Service through the Samsung Cloud Platform Console, select detailed options, and create the service. Additionally, developers can efficiently carry out development projects using DevOps Service’s standardized development tools, code, framework-based development templates, and integrated management functions.
Creating a DevOps Service
You can create and use a DevOps Service via the Samsung Cloud Platform Console.
- Each account can use one DevOps Service.
- Only IAM users can create a DevOps Service.
- When a DevOps Service is created, the creator’s ID is granted Tenant Admin privileges in the DevOps Console.
To create a DevOps Service, follow these steps.
- Click the All Services > DevOps Tools > DevOps Service menu and click the Create Service button. You will be taken to the Service Home page of the DevOps Service.
- On the Service Home page, click the Create DevOps Service button to go to the Create DevOps Service page.
- On the Create DevOps Service page, enter the required information for the service.
- In the Enter Service Information section, provide the required details.
Item Required Description Tenant Name Required Name of the Tenant for the DevOps Service being created (displayed logically when accessing the DevOps Console). Must start with a lowercase letter and can include lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens (-), 3–30 characters. Tenant Code Required System-internal ID used internally (similar to a project ID). Created based on user input. Must start with a lowercase letter and can include lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens (-), 3–30 characters. - At least one user must be selected to create the service

- Click the Add Tag button, then enter or select Key and Value

- In the Enter Service Information section, provide the required details.
- In the summary panel, review the detailed information and estimated billing amount, then click Create.
- After creation is complete, you can view the resource on the Resource List page.
Using DevOps Service
The DevOps Service can be configured within a separate console called DevOps Console to set up an actual DevOps environment.
To use DevOps Service, follow these steps.
- Click the All Services > DevOps Tools > DevOps Service menu. You will be taken to the Service Home page of the DevOps Service.
- On the Service Home page, click the DevOps Service menu to go to the DevOps Service list page.
- On the DevOps Service List page, click the resource you want to view details for. You are taken to the DevOps Service Details page.
- On the DevOps Service Details page, click the DevOps Console button to go to the Samsung Cloud Platform DevOps Console page.
Viewing DevOps Service Details
The DevOps Service allows you to view and edit the full resource list and detailed information. The DevOps Service Details page consists of Details, Tags, and Activity Log tabs.
To view detailed information of the selected resource from the DevOps Service List page, follow these steps.
- Click the All Services > DevOps Tools > DevOps Service menu. You will be taken to the Service Home page of the DevOps Service.
- On the Service Home page, click the DevOps Service menu to go to the DevOps Service list page.
- On the DevOps Service List page, click the resource you want to view details for. You are taken to the DevOps Service Details page.
- The DevOps Service Details page displays status information and consists of Details, Tags, and Activity Log tabs.

- The DevOps Service Details page displays status information and consists of Details, Tags, and Activity Log tabs.
Details
You can view detailed information of the selected resource from the DevOps Service List page.

You can view, add, modify, or delete tag information of the selected resource on the DevOps Service List page.

Terminating a DevOps Service
- If there are resources linked to a project within the DevOps Console, you cannot terminate the DevOps Service.
- To terminate the DevOps Service, delete all resources linked within the DevOps Console.
- For detailed information on using the DevOps Console, refer to the Samsung Cloud Platform DevOps Console User Guide provided within the DevOps Console.
To terminate a DevOps Service, follow these steps.
- Click the All Services > DevOps Tools > DevOps Service menu. You will be taken to the Service Home page of the DevOps Service.
- On the Service Home page, click the DevOps Service menu. You will be taken to the DevOps List page.
- On the DevOps Service List page, click the resource you wish to terminate. You are taken to the DevOps Service Details page.
- On the DevOps Service Details page, click the Terminate Service button.
- After termination is complete, verify the resource is terminated on the DevOps Service List page.
