FEATURE UX improvement
  • For shared Images, you can view the Owner Account ID information and Image sharing status on the detail screen.
  • All resources created within the Private Zone are excluded from billing.
  • A Memory Quota has been added to the Quota Items.

FEATURE Add server type and other feature changes
  • You can delete the server even if the Backup service is connected.
    • When a server is deleted, the schedule of the associated backup is removed, but the backup itself remains intact and can be restored and used.
  • s3, h3 server types have been added.
    • Samsung Cloud Platform Sovereign will be provided after November 2026.

CHANGED Limit on shared Image generation size and discontinue AIOS integration
  • The creation of shared images is limited by the OS disk size.
    • If the OS disk size is 500 GB or larger, you cannot create a shared Image.
  • The AIOS service integration has been stopped.
    • Due to the discontinuation of the AIOS service, the AIOS integrated service (LLM Endpoint) has been removed from Virtual Server.

  • Additional OS Image provision

  • An SSD volume with configurable IOPS and throughput has been added.
    • When creating Block Storage, you can select the SSD_Provisioned disk type.
    • You can set the maximum IOPS and Throughput.
  • You can view the Virtual Server ServiceWatch metric monitoring graph on the detail page.

  • You can change the server name on the Virtual Server detail page in the Samsung Cloud Platform Console.
    • When changing the server name, the OS’s Hostname is not changed; only the information within the Samsung Cloud Platform Console is updated.

    • You can monitor data using the ServiceWatch service.
